sgtsmithy, 13-Aug-10 » After much deliberation Thermaltake have decided to run the following in game format;
Matches are played in two 15-round halves. A match is deemed completed when one team wins 16 rounds.

•Round Time: 2 minutes
•Starting Buy Time: 30 seconds
•Starting Funds: $800.00
•C4 Timer: 35 seconds
Max Team Size: 5 per side

The tournament will now be held ONLINE with LAN finals (still held in City Hunter's Net Café in Chinatown, NSW).
This online tournament will cost teams $120 to attend, run over a 4 week period and double elimination style.
The top two qualifying teams will be 'Auto-Berthed' into the finals and receive $1000 cash to help them with travel expenses to the finals!

But don't worry, if your team doesn't make the top 8, you will still have a shot at the title!
After the top 8 are selected, there will be a "One Day Cup" style competition run on the Sunday after the main qualifiers finish.
This will once again entail a seeded, double elimination style competition with the top two teams form this winning themselves $200 each to help themselves get to the finals. The other six teams are still eligible to enter the finals in NSW, but must make their own way to the venue.
