netGameRadio in 2010
Heals, 10-Jan-10 » netGameRadio in 2010
2009 was a huge year for netGameRadio and the Australian gaming community. We saw some huge tournaments play out in TF2, some great community events and continued support in Battlefield, our first move into Call of Duty & Quake LIVE, the formal introduction of the ClanSport brand and over 700 official broadcasts! There were also some great new radio shows for regular listeners of netGameRadio many of which will be making their return in 2010.
As you may have noticed netGameRadio has recently been testing some livestream video technology. You guessed it, netGameTV (http://www.netgametv.com) is set to become a core component of our eSports coverage in 2010 and we’re working furiously behind the scenes to bring the Australian public the best custom built IPTV and video commentary experience yet! Expect big things from us in 2010, as we believe it's going to be a great year, not only for us, but for the Australian eSports community as well.

Moving forward..
We can’t believe it’s been two years since we switched on the first broadcast here at nGR. It’s been a fantastic ride so far and we’ve got HUGE plans for the future. Not the least of which is a permanent TV & radio broadcast studio and corporate home in Sydney set to be built this year. Such an investment takes a considerable about of blood, sweat, tears and cash and we’ll be aiming to provide all these things to reach our goals, thanks largely to our listeners continued moral and financial support.
With recent improvements to Australian broadband infrastructure in addition to future plans by the Australian Government (NBN), and as part of a permanent broadcast studio in Sydney, netGameRadio has formally decided that 2010 will mark a huge push into the creation & broadcast of premium professional quality eSports video content, both LIVE and recorded, making the netGameRadio experience, the ultimate experience!
You’ll also be seeing more of netGameRadio at major (and minor) Australian and international gaming events as we showcase our contribution to the eSports world and seek out bigger and greater opportunities to push Australian and International professional gaming forward.
All this and heaps more guys - so stay tuned. ;)
