Games4Kids April Pub-Crawl
Heals, 29-Mar-09 » Games4Kids is running another pub crawl! They're at it again finding possibly the coolest way to raise money for kids in hospital and this time the pub crawl is coming to North Adelaide!
Time & Date
Date: April 24th
Start time: 6pm
Donation: $5
Pubs & Location
The Wellington: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
The Daniel O'Connell: 8:00pm - 9:30pm
The Oxford: 9:30pm - 11:00pm
Cambridge Balcony Bar: 11:00pm - Close
Blue & White for an AB
Games4Kids are also running their first ever Photo-Hunt, run by Rebecca Lehman in conjunction with the pub crawl. Crawlers are being encouraged to bring their digital camera and/or camera phone to take pictures of a list of things at the various pubs and along the way. The first person to have a completed list, or the person with the most points at midnight, wins a prize!
About Games4Kids
Games4Kids was formed in 2008 by a small group of friends who are all members of South Australia's IT & Gaming communities. Currently Games4Kids is made up of 4 hard working and dedicated individuals Sean Slater, Jason Lassey, Rebecca Lehman & Shaun Talbot.
Our primary goal is to raise funds so we can purchase games and gaming equipment for young children in hospital. We hope to provide them with not only some fun and entertainment while they are in hospital but also a chance to grow up and join the community that has supported them.
We aim to raise funds from a few different avenues. Not only are we hoping to raise funds through the generosity of fellow gamers and IT professionals but also through organisations who wish to help out a worthy cause.
