Gig Review: Stand For The Fallen
Steve-0, 28-Feb-10 » Local Australian talent is very hard to come by these days. You got to know where to look most of the time but also, word of mouth helps.
So i decided to go to St Marys and check out a couple of local bands. One of them being Stand For The Fallen.
At approximately 12:30PM on Sunday the 28th of February Stand For The Fallen took the stage with a small crowd but enough to make some noise.
Band members are:
Jay Hirabayashi - Vocals
Marcus Bridge - Clean Vocals, Drums
Yutaro Okuda - Lead Guitar
Harry Moxham - Rhythm Guitar
Miki Rich - Bass
Their style is not as common as most hard metal bands here in Sydney. The style would be, if it's safe to say, somewhat of a pop and Dance element to the metal scene which gives their songs a good kick. As well as that their breakdowns are mental as anything and will send anybody into a flailing maniac in the mosh.

All in all this band is very talented for what the Sydney music scene has to offer these days and i recommend you check them out if they're playing near you!
