BSG Composer to Score Music for Dark Void

Capcom announced today that composer Bear McCreary, known best for his work on popular sci-fi TV series Battlestar Galactica, has signed on to score Capcom’s highly-anticipated third-person action game, Dark Void. He has gained international renown over the last few years for his amazing work on Battlestar and Dark Void marks the first time McCreary will be creating the score for a video game.
“When I got the call from Capcom to work on the music for Dark Void, I jumped at the chance to do it, considering my love for Capcom games.” said McCreary. “I have been looking for the opportunity to compose a game score for a long time, but I’ve been waiting for the right one. Dark Void’s epic story and unique gameplay drew me in immediately and I have had a lot of fun working on the project.”
Dark Void, Capcom’s upcoming third person action-shooter, is set to launch on Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Windows PCs this year. Developed by Airtight Studios and Capcom, Dark Void combines run-and-gun combat with the thrill of soaring jetpack action in the skies.
