Halo Team of Frenetic Array off to MLG
RDNx, 27-May-10 »
Frenetic Array is an Australian based non-profit organization, and is one of the largest growing competitive online gaming organizations in Australia. Fray competes on both PC and Xbox 360 platforms, with more platforms expected to be incorporated in the future.
Major League Gaming (MLG) is an American professional e-sports league, and is the largest league in the world; with an average of five million unique visitors across their websites, and 12,000 player attendance in MLG 2009.
Frenetic Array has its roots deep in Australian soil; however international expansion has always been on the forefront of our plans. From our forays into the New Zealand gaming community, to our name change from Australian Field Operatives, Frenetic Array is now poised to take the next step into the international arena by fielding the first fully Australian team to compete at Major League Gaming, Columbus. Our Halo team from the Xbox division has been performing exceptionally thus far, with near-flawless records in AUSHalo, to their current status as champions of the Australian Cyber League.
Having now been invited to participate in the largest international gaming league in existence, we trust that our Xbox Halo squad will be the first of many Frenetic Array teams to compete at an international level.
Team Roster
Matt "Heff " Hefren (Team Captain)
Aaron "Benno" Bennet (2IC)
Matt “Voltage” Barker
Isaac "Slayer” Turkovic
The Frenetic Array Halo team, previously known as inControl, has been playing Halo professionally since mid-2009. While they have achieved well beyond expectation in Australia, at MLG they will be matched against the top Halo players from across the world in a highly-publicized international event. Frenetic Array are confident that once competition has concluded the Halo team will have attendees and enthusiasts alike sitting up and paying close attention to how we play the game at Fray.
