Sydney Gaming League
RDNx, 4-Dec-09 » The Sydney Gaming League is BACK!
After going through some trouble times in 2009, the largest LAN gaming event in Australia’s biggest city is putting plans in place for triumphant return in 2010.
The organisers are planning to “go back to their roots” and provide the best experience for both casual and competition gaming. They are looking to get some great sponsors onboard that will provide some real value to the competitions run, and potentially be one of the richest gaming events in Australia.
The organisers are revamping a lot of things including what gamers would like to see happen at SGL. Questions being asked including, would gamers like events to be shorter or longer, have more events with less people or big events but less of them. They are even asking which brand of energy drink gamers would like supplied!
They are also currently discussing on their forums which games they will cover and are keen to hear from the gaming community about which games people would like to see played at the events.
As very much a community-based initiative the organisers are keen to get feedback, consequently if you want to have your say check out their web site at http://www.sgl.org.au/
netGameRadio will be attending these events and look forward to bringing your all the action in what is shaping up to be a great year for LAN-based gaming in Sydney this coming year.
