It's already full steam ahead in Australian E-Sports as GotGames announced this weekend, their plans for 2009. GG Founder Alex "Hybrid" Mottshaw made the announcements Sunday Night, outlining all the tournaments and ladders for 2009 with prize money totaling $20,000 over the 2 seasons planned. AMD and SteelSeries have significantly jumped on board, providing product as prizes for members who significantly contribute interesting content to the community by way of articles.

GotGames also announced that they will in fact be running 2 Call of Duty : World at War competitions with over $4000 in prize money. The Comps will be comprised of an Open Ladder and Professional "Invite Only" Ladder, in which the top teams of Cod:WaW will square off.

The big announcement from Mottshaw though was the introduction to GGTV, a "hardcore Australian E-Sports TV show based on GGCEVO competitions throughout the year". With plans for four 22-minute episodes starting in April, production has already gone underway. Daniel "Pandos" Posavac will be presenting and auditions for other presenters and co-anchors begin Saturday 17th. The Shows will cover the CEVO CSS, Cod:WaW and Fifa Professional Ladders with "full previews and write-ups for every single game this year".

GGTV is "currently looking for video staff, graphics staff, commentators and content producers". You can apply via applications@gotgames.com.au
