There are plenty of talented players over our fine land and with teams being made up of players from all corners of the country, state lines have become blurred. The GotGames Australian State Championship is putting those walls back up for a competition where the stakes are pride and glory. Players from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia are going back to their home roots to battle it out for state pride.

CEVO will be jumping on board yet again to help us out. We will be using their ladder system and anti-cheat program (CMN). This will weed out any problems we may encounter and allow for the competition to be the best it can be.

The battle for bragging rights will be played out over three days. New South Wales and Queensland will all receive 2 team invites while Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria will receive 1 spot. The 8 teams will not only be playing for themselves but for their states.

If Tasmania and/or South Australia do not show a strong player base, one or both of the teams will be squashed and/or merged. If one of the teams can not field a decent team while the other can we will be allowing Victoria to take a second team spot in the competition.
