Please find below the finals structure for the netGameRadio BF2 Masters. The finals will take place from Monday the 15th of September through to Sunday 22nd of September. The top 6 teams will play off in the finals series. The details of which are below.
Semi Finals
Final Placed teams 1 & 2, as per leaderboard, receive bye to Preliminary Finals
F1. 3rd vs 6th (Monday 15th Sept 8PM // Server 1)
F2. 4th v 5th (Monday 15th Sept 9.30PM // Server 1)
Map = Dragon Valley
Preliminary Finals
F3. W(F1) vs Leaderboard # 1(Thursday 18th September 8PM // Server 1)
F4. W(F2) vs Leaderboard # 2 (Thursday 18th September 9.30PM // Server 1)
Map = Warlord
Grand Final
F5. W(F3) vs W(F4) (Sunday 22nd September 8.00PM // Server 1)
Map = Highest Ranking Team Selects Grand Final Map***
Important Finals Information:
1. *** All team captains of the competing teams are now required to submit a Grand Final map selection. In determining this, the team with the highest amount of points on the leader-board, at the end of final round play, will have their particular map chosen.
Team Captains have 2 days to submit their map preference to myself via PM on this board. If no map is chosen, you risk letting the opposing, and quite possibly, lesser ranked team choosing the finals map for your team. Map selections are required by midnight 12/09/2008. Please note, you are choosing your possible Grand Final map only. The semi and preliminary finals have already been chosen.
2. Teams also must make sure that they arrive in the server at least 10 minutes before scheduled start time to not only ensure that join orders are correct, but to also ensure that any punk-buster related problems have been sorted. All matches will commence no later then 15 minutes past start time. The server will generally be up much earlier then start time. Teams are encouraged to test any PB related problems before start time.
Server #2 will also be made available for testing purposes.
3. In determining prizes, once finals have been played, the top 6 positions will be paid. In determining places 3rd to 6th, it will be based on leader-board points as they stand before finals commenced. If there is a tie situation between two teams, then the team with the higher FOR % will be awarded the higher place.
Prizes will be distributed to the registered address of the clan captain, with the details used during the registration process. A reminder that clan captains are responsible for the distribution of prizes, netGameRadio will not be held accountable for prize distribution amongst teams.
A reminder of the prizes:
• 1st prize: $3,000 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain) plus 8 sticks of RAM plus 3 V/Cards
• 2nd prize: $1,000 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain) plus 4 sticks of RAM plus 1 V/Card
• 3rd prize: $500 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain) plus 2 sticks of RAM plus 6 slabs of Dickens Cider drink
• 4th prize: $250 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain) plus 2 sticks of RAM plus 4 slabs of Dickens Cider drink
• 5th prize: $125 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain) plus 4 slabs of Dickens Cider drink
• 6th prize: $125 (which will be delivered in the form of a [cheque / EFT] made out to the team captain)
