BF Masters Preliminary Update

What a big week of BF Masters action we have had! Let's wrap it up!

Thursday night would have had to of been our most epic action in the series yet!

The first preliminary final match was played, and Team Exile 5 defeated a determined Australian Vengeance Alliance securing the first place in the Grand Final.

The second match was where the upset was held. With most, if not all of the Battlefield community heavily tipping Battlefield 2 veterans Team Awaken to win, nothing is ever written in stone, and that was the case in this match.

With true spirit and determination, Australian Field operatives managed to defeat Team Awaken by 4 tickets on Warlord. RDNx, VyperAus, and johnny_sisko all were server side calling the epic action. The biggest upset in competitive Australian and New Zealand Battlefield 2 history was made, along with netGameRadio's most epic cast yet.

The shout-cast for this match can be found here, where you can also synchronise the cast up with the demo.

AFO have also made a video on the match. Check that out here.

Grand Final Information

Sunday night, the stage was set for the Grand Final between Team Exile5 and Australian Field Operatives. Unfortunately, due to internet issues that were beyond netGameRadio's control, mid round #1 the match had to be canceled.

After a meeting, it was decided that match should be re-scheduled to this Sunday the 28th of September, for a start time of 8.30PM. The map will be Fushe Pass, and netGameRadio's coverage will begin at 8PM AEST.

It's going to be epic! Don't miss out. We will again be giving out FOUR copies of Battlefield Bad Company, don't miss this match! It could go either way!!

Thanks to both teams in their professional handling of the situation, and we look forward to you all joining us this coming Sunday!
